Walter has 25+ years of experience in all aspects of the audio world.Born in Belgium and working in venues and studios all over Europe, he moved to Los Angeles, CA where he established a very successful professional career as engineer, producer and songwriter. Walter's international professional endeavors as Producer, Recording Engineer, Live Sound Engineer, Composer , Sound Designer and in Audio Post Production includes recent work with international star Jose Feliciano,new classical and latin albums, audio mix on the Blu-ray release ‘Live in Tel Aviv, Israel’ and post production work on an independent movie release as well as a new release by Sounds of the Supremes and select FOH mixing at various festivals in Europe. His sound designs have been heard internationally in Theatre and Opera houses (e.g. L.A.’s Center for Bilingual Arts, La Mama ETC NYC, PCPA Theaterfest CA, Romanian National Theatre, Cluj, Romania and The Flanders Opera Belgium, including Stephen Schwartz’s new musical “My Fairy Tale”). He received his MFA (CA equivalency) from the Higher Institute of Theatre and Culture Spreading in Brussels, Europe. He taught several audio courses, workshops and lectures in Europe (e.g. School of the Arts in Amsterdam, The Netherlands), at UCLA, CSU Fresno, Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts in Santa Maria, CA, asst. professor positions at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ and at the University of South Carolina, SC, and as associate professor audio engineering, live sound technology and audio post production at NESCom, Husson University, ME. He currently resides at Musician's Institute in Hollywood CA and teaches and writes courses in the Audio Engineering programs.
